Experience Behind Harborview
Harborview was founded by Jenny Perri, who brings more than 25 years of business experience, including 17 years specializing in procurement.
Before founding Harborview, Jenny managed $300,000–$500,000 in annual purchasing across more than 800 products, working with domestic and international suppliers. Her responsibilities spanned the purchasing process from beginning to end—including inventory forecasting, supplier sourcing and evaluation, pricing and quality comparisons, purchasing, receiving and quality control, vendor management, product pricing, and coordination with customs brokers.
She also developed Excel-based forecasting tools, helped establish pricing across hundreds of products, and worked across departments to solve the everyday operational challenges that come with running a growing business.
That experience shaped the way Harborview approaches client work today: look beyond the transaction and understand what's actually happening in the business.
A higher expense isn't always just an accounting issue. A cheaper supplier isn't necessarily the better supplier. And sometimes a process that's been used for years is exactly the process that deserves another look.
